The Fluorescence Education Center, also referred to as the Fluorescence Foundation, is a non-profit organization fostering and sponsoring studies aimed at the applications of fluorescence techniques in biology, biochemistry, the life sciences, and the material sciences. The center organizes courses and sponsors scholarships to students and scientists.
The center is supported entirely by private funds.
