ISS

ISS designs, manufacturers and markets fluorescence instrumentation for research applications in the life sciences, material sciences and nanotechnology. A second product line includes near-infrared non-invasive instrumentation for medical applications.
The fluorescence product line includes high sensitivity spectrofluorometers and confocal microscopes for time-resolved fluorescence, lifetime imaging (FLIM), fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS).
The spectrofluorometers line include the PC1 Photon Counting Spectrofluorimeter, the K2 Steady-state and Lifetime Fluorometer with Picosecond Resolution and Chronos, a compact lifetime fluorometer using laser diodes and light emitting diodes light sources.
The microscopy product line includes Alba, a four-channel confocal microscope for fluorescence lifetime imaging and fluorescence fluctuations spectroscopy using both autocorrelation function (FCS) analysis and the proprietary photon counting histogram (PCH) analysis.
ISS instruments are completed by a vast array of accessories for the applications of fluorescence techniques including two, three and four cuvette holders, Peltier-controlled cuvette holders for rapid temperature changes, cryostat, high pressure cells for dissociation studies up to 4,000 bar, low pressure chambers, and fiber optics bundle for in-situ measurements. ISS sells several modular components for researchers interested in building a custom instrument.
ISS instruments are installed at universities and corporations (chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical) worldwide. ISS has built a reputation for individualized Customer Service and Support, encompassing all of the stages from the instrument’s selection to continuous service and maintenance for years after installation. ISS works closely with the potential customer in defining the instrument configuration that best suits a specific application. After the instrument is installed, ISS provides customer training and extensive customer support.
